Feel free to download our demonstration products to try with a view to buying, or to supplement a version you have already bought. You may not use them for any purpose other than trying them with a view to buying them. The demonstrations have limitations to prevent abuse.

When you click on a file here, you will normally see a dialogue box asking where you would like to save the file. Please remember wherever you choose, then double click on the file once it has finished, to open it. Perhaps the best place is your actual desktop.

Penfriend XL and XP use Windows Installer to support easy, familiar installation and removal. However, you will need to have Windows Installer itself. If you are not sure, try downloading the Penfriend files and double clicking on them. If you see a message asking which application to use to open the file then cancel it, download Windows Installer (from this page), install that, then double click on the Penfriend file again. Do not install Windows Installer if you already have it!
 

Penfriend XL demo (about 10Mb).

Including speech engine. For Windows 7, Vista and XP. Use this version if you don't have any other speaking software on your computer. It includes a SAPI5 voice which can be used by other applications.

 

Penfriend XP demo (about 8.5Mb).

For Windows 7, Vista and XP.

 

Penfriend FR demo (about 1.5Mb).
